💰 Robux to Euro

DevEx Calculator

The DevEx Calculator converts earned Robux into the real payout the Roblox Developer Exchange sends you — at $0.0038 per Robux on the standard tier, $0.0054 on the US 18+ tier and $0.0035 on the legacy tier.

It also runs backwards. Enter the payout you are aiming for and it tells you how many earned Robux you need — and how much you have to sell to get there once Roblox's 30% Marketplace fee is taken out.

Below the tool: the full rate table, Robux to USD and EUR conversions up to 18 million, the complete eligibility checklist, and how long each stage of a cash-out actually takes.

What Is DevEx?

The Developer Exchange, or DevEx, is the only official route from Robux to real money. Creators who meet the requirements submit a request from the Creator Dashboard, Roblox reviews it, and the payment is sent through Tipalti as US dollars — which you then receive in your own currency at your bank's rate.

Only earned Robux qualify. Revenue from game passes, developer products, avatar items and group earnings all count; Robux you bought with a card or received as a gift never do, no matter how large the balance.

DevEx does not charge a separate commission. The rate is the deal: each earned Robux is worth a fixed number of cents, and that number depends on which tier your Robux were earned under.

DevEx Rates in 2026

Three rate tiers exist at the same time, and a single balance can contain Robux from more than one of them.

Standard

$0.0038

The default rate for earned Robux since 5 September 2025.

100,000 Robux → $380.00

US 18+

$0.0054

Applies to eligible spend from United States players aged 18 and over.

100,000 Robux → $540.00

Legacy

$0.0035

Robux earned before 10 AM PT on 5 September 2025 still cash out at this rate.

100,000 Robux → $350.00

The gap between the tiers is worth understanding before you plan a cash-out: the same 1,000,000 Robux is $3,800.00 at the standard rate but $5,400.00 if it was earned from eligible US 18+ spend.

How Much Robux for a Given Payout

Working backwards from a cash target is the calculation most creators actually plan with.

Payout target Earned Robux needed
$100 26,316 R$
$250 65,790 R$
$500 131,579 R$
$1,000 263,158 R$
$2,500 657,895 R$
$5,000 1,315,790 R$
$10,000 2,631,579 R$
$50,000 13,157,895 R$
$100,000 26,315,790 R$

The smallest cash-out possible is the minimum balance itself: 30,000 earned Robux, worth $114.00.

DevEx Requirements Checklist

Every item below has to be true at the moment you submit. Most rejected requests fail on the last three.

Age 13 or older DevEx is closed to accounts under 13.
30,000 earned Robux Purchased or gifted Robux never count — only Robux earned from sales.
Active Roblox Premium Your subscription must be live at the moment the request is submitted.
Verified email address Set and confirmed in your account settings.
ID verification A government ID matching the name on your payout account.
Completed tax profile Filed through the Tipalti portal Roblox uses to pay out.
Account in good standing No active moderation actions on the account.

How Long Does DevEx Take?

A first cash-out is slower than every one after it, because the payment profile has to be set up from scratch.

1
Submit the request Same day

From the Creator Dashboard, once you clear the minimum balance.

2
Roblox reviews it 5–10 business days

Around 10 business days for a first request, roughly 5 once you are a returning creator.

3
Tipalti pays out 3–7 business days

ACH, PayPal, wire, eCheck or cheque, depending on what you set up.

4
Money lands 2–4 weeks total

End to end for a first cash-out; later ones are faster because Tipalti is already configured.

How the 30% Tax and DevEx Stack

Two deductions sit between a player's purchase and your bank account, and they are often confused with each other.

Step 1 — Marketplace fee

Roblox takes 30% when the item sells. A 10,000 R$ sale credits 7,000 R$ to your balance. Full breakdown on the Robux tax calculator.

Step 2 — DevEx conversion

Those 7,000 earned Robux convert at $0.0038 each, giving $26.60 — around €24.47.

There is a third layer people forget: the payout is income. Roblox collects a tax form through Tipalti but does not pay your income tax for you, so set some of every cash-out aside for whatever you owe locally.

If you sell game passes or run a donation booth, the game pass tax calculator and PLS DONATE tax calculator handle step one for those cases, and the guide on how much tax Roblox takes covers every sale type.

Why Buying Robux Costs More Than DevEx Pays

A player buying the 800 Robux bundle for $9.99 pays about $0.0125 per Robux. A creator cashing out receives $0.0038. That spread — plus the 30% Marketplace fee on the sale itself — is how Roblox funds hosting, moderation and the platform as a whole.

It also explains why a "Robux to USD" answer depends entirely on direction. Converting a balance you own uses the DevEx rate; pricing what Robux cost uses the retail rate. Our Robux to USD calculator and Robux to Euro calculator cover the buying side, and this page covers the cashing-out side.

DevEx FAQ

What is the DevEx rate?

The standard Developer Exchange rate is $0.0038 per earned Robux, so 100,000 Robux is $380.00. Robux earned before 5 September 2025 cash out at the legacy rate of $0.0035, and eligible spend from United States players aged 18+ converts at $0.0054.

How much is 100,000 Robux in USD?

100,000 earned Robux is $380.00 at the standard DevEx rate, or roughly €349.60. Reaching that balance takes 142,858 Robux of gross sales, because Roblox takes 30% of every sale first.

How much is 1 million Robux in USD through DevEx?

1,000,000 earned Robux converts to $3,800.00 at the standard rate. At the US 18+ rate the same balance is worth $5,400.00.

What are the DevEx requirements?

You need to be 13 or older, hold at least 30,000 earned Robux, have an active Roblox Premium subscription and a verified email, pass ID verification, complete a tax profile in the Tipalti portal, and have an account in good standing.

How long does DevEx take?

Expect two to four weeks end to end for a first cash-out. Roblox reviews a first request in around 10 business days and a returning creator in about 5, then Tipalti takes a further 3–7 business days to send the money.

How much does Roblox take from DevEx?

DevEx itself does not take a percentage — the exchange rate is the whole story. The gap people notice is that players pay around $0.0125 per Robux at retail while creators cash out at $0.0038. Add the 30% Marketplace fee charged on the original sale and only a small share of what a player spends reaches the creator as cash.

How do taxes work on the Roblox Developer Exchange?

Two separate things are called tax. Roblox takes a 30% Marketplace fee when your item sells, before the Robux ever reach your balance. DevEx then converts what is left into real income, and that income is taxable where you live — Roblox collects a tax form through Tipalti but does not pay your income tax for you.

Can you DevEx without Premium?

No. An active Roblox Premium subscription is required at the moment you submit a DevEx request. Letting it lapse before the request is processed is one of the most common reasons a cash-out is declined.

Do purchased Robux count towards DevEx?

No. Only earned Robux — revenue from game passes, developer products, avatar items and group earnings — count towards the minimum and towards a payout. Robux you bought or received as a gift are excluded.

Is the DevEx rate the same as the Robux purchase price?

No, and the difference is large. Buying 800 Robux for $9.99 works out at about $0.0125 per Robux, while DevEx pays $0.0038. That spread is how Roblox funds the platform, and it is why converting a currency figure back into Robux gives a very different answer depending on which direction you are going.
