💰 Robux to Euro

Roblox Game Pass Tax Calculator

Roblox takes 30% of every game pass sale. Price a pass at 100 R$ and 70 R$ reach your balance; the other 30 R$ are the Marketplace fee.

This calculator turns any pass price into your real earnings per sale, and flips around to tell you what to charge if you have a target payout in mind. It covers developer products too — Roblox charges both the same flat fee.

Below the tool you will find a full price-to-earnings table, a revenue planner for 10 to 1,000 sales, and the rounding trap that quietly costs small passes more than 30%.

Quick amounts:

Roblox rounds your share down to a whole Robux, so very small prices lose slightly more than 30%. Cash values are DevEx estimates and depend on your rate tier, region and taxes.

How Much Does Roblox Take From Game Passes?

Roblox takes 30% and you keep 70%. The fee is applied server-side the instant a player buys your pass, so the Robux credited to your account are already after tax. There is no invoice, no later deduction, and no way to opt out.

This flat rate replaced the old membership-based split in April 2020. Before that, non-Premium creators kept as little as 10% of a pass sale while Builders Club members kept 70%. Every creator now gets the same 70%.

The 30% applies to game passes, developer products and any other Robux transfer between users, which is why donation booths in games like PLS DONATE lose the same share.

Use this to sanity-check a monetisation plan before you build it. Hitting the 30,000 Robux DevEx minimum needs 42,858 R$ of gross sales — for example 429 sales of a 100 R$ pass.

Choosing a Game Pass Price

The tax is fixed, so the only lever you control is the price itself. Three things worth knowing before you publish a pass:

1. Round prices pay better

A 25 R$ pass pays 17 R$, an effective 32.0% cut. A 30 R$ pass pays 21 R$ — exactly 30%. The difference is small on one sale and meaningful across thousands.

2. Match the price to what players can buy

Most players top up with the 400, 800 or 1,700 Robux bundles. A pass priced just above one of those bundles forces a second purchase and kills conversions; priced just under, it feels affordable.

3. Price for total revenue, not per-sale revenue

Doubling a pass price rarely doubles income. Compare the whole row in the planner above: 100 sales of a 100 R$ pass (7,000 R$ net) beats 20 sales of a 500 R$ pass (7,000 R$ net).

Turning Game Pass Earnings Into Money

Robux you earn from passes are earned Robux, which is the only kind that qualifies for the Developer Exchange. DevEx currently values them at $0.0038 each, so 70 R$ from a single 100 R$ pass is about $0.27 — and €0.24 at our reference euro rate.

You need 30,000 earned Robux, an active Premium subscription, ID verification and a completed tax profile before a request can be submitted. Run the second step through our DevEx calculator, or see the whole fee breakdown on the main Robux tax calculator.

Game Pass Tax FAQ

How much does Roblox take from game passes?

Roblox takes 30% of every game pass sale. A 100 Robux pass credits 70 Robux to your balance and 30 Robux to Roblox. The split is the same whether or not you have Roblox Premium, and it is identical for developer products.

What percent do you get from a Roblox game pass?

You keep 70% of the listed price. The 30% Marketplace fee is deducted automatically at the moment of sale, so the Robux that appear in your balance are already net of tax.

How much do I earn from a 100 Robux game pass?

70 Robux per sale. At the standard DevEx rate that is about $0.27 USD. Selling that same pass 1,000 times earns 70,000 Robux, which is roughly $266 USD.

What price should I set to earn a specific amount?

Divide your target by 0.7 and round up. To earn 1,000 Robux per sale, price the pass at 1,429 Robux. The calculator above does this for you in the "Target earnings → Pass price" mode.

Do developer products have the same tax as game passes?

Yes. Both game passes and developer products are charged the flat 30% Marketplace fee, so the maths on this page applies to both. The difference is that a game pass is bought once per account while a developer product can be bought repeatedly.

Why did I receive fewer Robux than 70% of the price?

Roblox rounds your share down to a whole Robux. A 5 Robux pass pays 3 Robux instead of 3.5, and a 25 Robux pass pays 17 instead of 17.5. Prices divisible by 10 avoid this entirely.

When do game pass earnings appear in my balance?

Sales are credited as pending Robux first and become available for spending or DevEx after a holding period. Avatar item commissions carry a documented 30-day escrow; game pass and developer product revenue clears faster but is still not instant.

How many game pass sales do I need for DevEx?

DevEx needs a minimum of 30,000 earned Robux. At 70 Robux per sale that is about 429 sales of a 100 Robux pass, or 42,858 Robux in gross sales at any price point.
